#EmpoweringFutureDrivers: Ethan Rossworm’s Journey at North Peace Commercial Driving Academy
The North Peace Commercial Driving Academy has welcomed its inaugural cohort of students. Among these learners stands Ethan Rossworm, a Grade 12 student from Worsley Central School, a Peace River School Division school.
As Ethan prepares to celebrate his graduation on June 15, accepting his high school diploma, he’s already reaching for additional tools of success. His sights are set on obtaining his Class 1 license—a crucial step toward a promising career. When the opportunity arose to join the North Peace Commercial Driving Academy, Ethan didn’t hesitate. Unlike other Class 1 driving schools, which are often booked months in advance and located far from his hometown, this academy provided a local and accessible path to his goal.
Growing up on a farm, Ethan gained unofficial experience maneuvering trucks across fields and farmyards. Now, he’s eager to take those skills to the open road once he completes the course and passes his provincial examination.
As winter approaches and the family wraps up their farming operations for the year, Ethan contemplates the next chapter. Perhaps he’ll explore driving opportunities beyond the family farm. Regardless, he’s immensely grateful for the chance to broaden his horizons by securing his Class 1 Drivers License through the North Peace Commercial Driving Academy.
